Hi Katy,
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this bakeware to help continue baking from scratch for my family of 6. I would use the loaf pan to bake some homemade Amish white bread, the pie pans to bake a fresh apple strudel pie using the apples growing behind our house, the casserole pan would be lovely to make a chicken casserole and the other pan would be nice for some scalloped potatoes.....fresh from our gardens.
I love reading your blog and was really excited to enter this giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
God's love and prayers,
Nicki
ehhh - i went to leave a comment and the page refreshed and I lost it. So trying again...
ReplyDeleteFunny that you're giving away Rachel Ray bakeware. She and I are the same in the fact that we love to cook - but seem to have issues with baking! My cookies and cakes never come out good. Not sure why - just have a talent block when it comes to baking. However if I won this set - I'd prob make some bread! I know you Katy love making bread - and so many of my other friends do too! I can picture the smell of fresh baked bread - Yummo! ;-)
~~Angi
(I dont want to put my email address out publicly - you should have it Katy - but if not I'll send it to you in a PM)

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are both big fans of Rachel Ray. Love to watch her on the Food Network Channel. I would make some Amish Friendship Bread in the loaf pans for sure. Maybe an Apple Cake in the round pans. Please enter me to win these. I will post about them on my blog too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katy,
Blessings,
AMY
Hi Katy,
ReplyDeleteIf I won your bake set my husband would say to bake a Texas sheet cake followed by breakfast bread and cookies. I also love to bake and my pans are as old as my marriage....33 years old so they are well seasoned and about worn out.
Good morning,
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower, I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I'm posting it on my blog too. Please stop in and visit me sometime.
Blessings,
~Ronda~

I love Rachel and her show. She is so upbeat and positive and down to earth--much like you!

Dear Katy, I would love the set too, but I would give it to my daughter who is 19 and building a 'hope chest'. She has recently complained that we don't have enough pans for her to cook with. I keep taking meals to friends and then not getting the pans back. We would make TWO lasangas, Texas sheet cake, Beef Bonaparte. And of course, good old-fashioned brownies.
ReplyDeletePS. Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway. I just dropped by to visit. I wasn't expecting a giveaway. :o)
ReplyDeleteI can think of soo many things I'd love to bake with this set: cookies, cakes, pies, bread... but one thing I'd love to bake using this set is butterhorns. Cream cheese butterhorns. =D

It seems all of my bakeware has been owned for so long it's taking a toll. For the cookie sheets I'd use them to try out a family favorite we call "Mexican wedding cookies." Everyone in my extended family LOVES them but no one knows how to make them. I have collected a few recipes here and there in magazines and online. I promised myself to attempt this summer. When the holidays roll around I hope to have perfected the recipe and perhaps give them as gifts or bring them to each Grandparents house when celebrating Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway btw. :)
