A Good Ole' Country Brupper......

The Breakfast Supper of Champions........

Last night, despite Chris and I both dealing with annoying headaches, we had a wonderful brupper (breakfast for supper)! Fried potatoes, eggs, bacon, corn muffins and cold glasses of milk adorned our table!

Madelyn did a wonderful job at setting the table....

It was a yummy meal that we all enjoyed! :) We are so thankful for the food God provides us!

Saturday evening...Chris and I attended a supper/movie night at our church. The movie they showed was Fireproof! I am sure many of you have seen it already as it has been out a while...but I hadn't had the chance yet. Oh my goodness....FANTASTIC movie! I absolutely loved it and cried and cried and cried...I was still crying for 1/2 an hour AFTER the movie ended! I absolutely LOVED it. If you haven't seen this....you definitely need to. It is such a wonderful movie. Check out the trailer for it HERE. It is only a couple minutes long and will definitely convince you that you need to see the movie! There is humor and drama in this movie and such a wonderful basis of faith that comes out. It will have you laughing out loud and crying....it's just one of the best movies! If you have seen this movie...I would love to hear what you thought about it....and if you haven't....definitely make sure you do! You will be glad you did!!! :o)

  1. I really liked Fireproof. I must have skimmed through the preview on the back of the box because it's not at all what I thought it was going to be about. However, my husband and I both sat and watched the whole thing. (Usually he would have gotten up and done something else rather than watching a "girly" movie.)Anyways I think it was really good and would recomment it to anyone.

  9. I love breakfast for supper!

Our church rented a local theater on the opening weekend of Fireproof last year. I posted about it when my blog was brand new, and I didn't even know how to blog yet!

Just like you, I laughed, then cried and cried . . . and cried some more! They did such a wonderful job on that movie - just as the did with Facing the Giants and Flywheel. (If you haven't seen those, they are excellent also!) I can't say enough good things about the way God used Fireproof to minister to couples.

Oh, and did you know that in the kissing scene near the end that Kirk Cameron was kissing his real life wife? That's why they didn't show her face. He made a promise never to kiss another woman - not even in a movie role. I thought that was just awesome.

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to write a book here - I just really loved that movie!

    Blessings,
    Mandy

  14. Loved the movie! Alot of times I am surfing the net or crafting while we watch movies. This movie was so good that I did nothing else but enjoy it. I hope that there are more movies to come with such a good, Christian message.

Your Brupper looks so good. I just might have to fry so potatoes tomorrow night. That would make someone around here very happy!
