I finished the cardigan I was making for Madelyn's dolls!!!! I am so so excited...however...the cardigan is WAY too big for Madelyn's doll....LOL...so it may be a baby gift for someone in the future or something...I am not sure yet...but I was just so excited that I did this project! You can't completely tell...but on the top there are a couple rows of decorative holes in it! :) And I love the ribbing on it too....on the cuff and the bottom...I think it just decorates it up so much!
Anyway...I just had to share my progress with you. First it was scarves and hats and dishcloths...now I have moved on to cardigans!!! YIPPEE! I think I may try to knit a pair of mittens next!!! :o) Thanks so much for sharing in my knitting project excitement with me!!!!!! :o)
congrats - it's very cute! you must knit awfully fast, you're always finishing things! i'm currently trying the waffle pattern dishcloth and working on a scarf for my baby cousin, and i'm thinking about trying a hat for her next! this knitting stuff is addicting! :)
ReplyDeleteoh and thanks for the camera cover pattern, i'm not sure i completely understand, but i'm gonna attempt it and see what happens. ;)
Oh Katy, I know that's got to be a great feeling. It looks so good!
ReplyDeleteEven though it turned out too big for the doll, it would be just precious on a baby - and just think of all the different kinds of yarn and colors you could use - I'm excited just thinking about it and it's not even my project!
Blessings,
Mandy

ReplyDeleteCongrats, Katy! :)
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a sweater I bought for Aften when she was little. It was a pretty two-toned, almost denim blue. I love that sweater. It's one of the things I'm keeping to give her when she's grown up :)
I haven't started knitting yet. That was the plan a month ago but life got in the way :)
Congrats again!
