A Loss...

My Grandma with Jaxson (a couple years back)

My Grandma passed away last night after a battle with Alzheimer's. I am truly thankful as I know where she is, as she had a loving relationship with the Savior. My sister eloquently wrote about our grandma on her blog **HERE**. I have had no tears yet...but I know they will come. She is greatly loved and we *will* see her again one day, which is a wonderful comfort!

"...for we walk by faith, not by sight.  Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."
~ 2 Corinthians 5: 7-8

Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied,
Katy

  5. As one who has been blessed to know your grandma for a long time, she is a shining example of the love of Jesus in action! I'm thrilled to see that love continue on with you....the impact she has had on many lives....wow, I can only imagine the great joy the Father welcomed her home with! I can imagine Him greeting her with, "Well done, good and faithful servant! Welcome home!" Praying for you and your family.....may the Father bring peace and comfort for your loss and great joy in knowing she is with Him!
