When Your Heart Hurts...

When the walls seem to be closing in around you...when the troubles of this world seem like too much to endure...where can we find our strength? To whom can we turn? Certainly not ourselves, we are sinful and wretched.Where is the good in this world?

He shed his blood that we might live,
Eternally with Him one day.
He's the only man to ever give,
His sinless life away.

He was beaten, mocked, and scorned,
With nine tails His flesh was ripped.
His side was speared and fiercely torn,
In the depths of Hell His soul was dipped.

He was beaten harshly, almost broken,
By the very men He longed to save,
Yet not one single word was spoken,
As to them His life He humbly gave.

They thought they proved this "Jesus" wrong,
But little did they know,
He'd get back up and walk along,
And the grave He'd overthrow.

These shallow men had not a clue,
His fate was not yet sealed.
For three days later it came true,
His prophecy revealed.

Now we the creature here below,
Can reach our God above,
For the Creator on us bestowed,
His Sacrificial Love.

He has been there. He knows. He loves. If you don't know my *need* to. For only He can heal the hurts of this world, your hurts, and love you eternally. I know this because His Word says it

You will never be good enough on your own. You (and me) were born evil. You can only be saved and a true child of the Most High God if you are born again through the cleansing of His blood; His perfect, sinless body broken for you and me. From then on, you are sanctified, set apart for as He commanded because it pleases Him...Not because of man-made rules or what we *think* to be His will...but rather a selfless and loving service to others because we are to imitate the One Who gave it all.

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin hath left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow.

God is love...

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
~1 John 4:7-8

Are you feeling weary or frustrated with things in your life? Battling anger or depression? Loneliness and despair? Immerse yourself in reading God's Word...start in the New Testament. You may not understand it all and find yourself asking questions; wanting to know more. Keep seeking Him...not through "inner peace" or new-age type things. Seek Him through constant prayer and consuming His Word. He will give you what you need in your reading. You will glean much...just don't stop. Read it daily. It's our instruction book. It's His love letter to us.

Find reason to give thanks for all things...

* Your daughter puts mint in your eggs for breakfast (without telling you) and ruins your whole plate of is thankful for the daughter who took the time to make you breakfast.

* Your husband unknowingly kills the newly planted clematis, while weed-eating the is thankful for a loving husband who is caring for things around your home.

* It's dreadfully hot and sticky out and your son climbs up in your lap to snuggle with you, sweat and is thankful for the son who still likes to be close to his mama.

* Just when you think you have all the laundry done, another hamper full-to-over-flowing gets brought in to the laundry is thankful for the clothes God has provided you with.

* The sink is full of dirty dishes, pots and pans and silverware after a supper with the is grateful for the family, food to eat, and dishes to eat on

May you know *true* Love, from the One Who *is* Love!
In His love,

Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
  1 Peter 1:2b
