If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom.

The kids and I went to a greenhouse today! I have never been to this greenhouse before...but my mom and mother-in-love have each told me how lovely it is! I needed to get some tomato plants for the garden...and I figured I would look around at all their flowers as well!
I let the children each pick out flowers to plant...which they were thrilled about! :)
Finally, we had to leave....but I really wanted to stay! I look forward to going back sometime soon. It was a beautiful place to buy flowers! :)
Once home, we planted flowers that Xavier picked out, in the big crock below! I believe they are petunias! The kids got busy planting their flowers.....

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Some time was spent planting here this evening. I also agree that there can never be to many flowers. They just make my heart sing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I have the same thought. Never to many flowers. I have been asked - dont't you have enough? Glad to find you others who love flowers and planting. Pics of kids planting are so so precious. Got to tell you I visited a greenhouse last spring and was stopped from going past the first one to look. Was told there was a little of everything in the first one and their insurance would not cover people in the other ones. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Blessings!
ReplyDeleteaww how cute! I love how your children share your love for planting. This was a refreshing post - thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI have an award for you on my blog. =) God bless!
Oh, how wonderful. I've never been to such a greenhouse in my whole life - and now I would so love to. It's so tempting these day. The flowers looked gorgeous. Your kids must have enjoyed the experience. BTW, I love your blog and all the wise citations. Have a wonderful weekend. :) Petra
