Walk With Me To Visit The Girls!

Come take a walk with me and you shall see and hear some mighty funny things! Through my arbor and around the garage... you will find the girls...listen closely and you will hear....
"Hey...Henrietta....you think she's gonna let us outta here for a bit? I feel awfully cooped up!"

"Ooo...she's getting closer....yep yep...I think we might be free ranging tonight!!!"

"She opened the door! Run Henrietta Run!"

The "girls" are not the only ones who like being outside.....

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Friday! We will be working on schooling...and doing lots of reading together. Gotta love children's love of books!!! Housework calls to me as well. I am so glad you stopped by and I just love reading the comments you all leave! Thank you for taking the time to leave them for me! xoxo

  2. Hi!! I just wanted to ask you about weight watchers. I haven't heard you talk about it in a while and was wondering if you were still doing it? The reason I ask is because I was looking into joining and was interested in knowing your opinion about it. I am very discouraged about gaining weight in the past few years and seem to have tried everything; but to no avail. If you don't mind sharing with me, I would love to know how much weight you have lost and how long it took you. THANKS!!! Huldah

  10. That was cute! We don't have chickens here on our farm but we did when I was growing up--they are fun and it is funny how they each have their own personality! Have a great day!

  11. Hi Katy! Your chickens are really pretty, I love their color. It's also nice that the kids get along in the yard with them because I would be frightened to death. LOL!!! Have a great weekend too!! Deb

  12. I'll have to show DH. I keep hitting him up about us having chickens LOL He says maybe if we grow corn next year so we'd have something to feed them. I think that's just one of his many stall tactics..... Lovely girls you have.

  15. Hi Katie, sounds like the homeschooling is going great. I am home now so I am playing catch up again. I too have stripped off so much wall paper and I was the big dummie that hung it up in the first place.
I love your chickens. I have some that look just like those. Could they be called Buff orphingtons or something like that? If so I have some beautiful gils like yours. We chose buffs because they told us they were really good layers and mothers is we ever wanted to raise some cjicks. I have one chick trying to sit right now, but sometimes she forgets witch nest she was on and she moves and lets here eggs get cold and they ruin. I don't know if she will ever succeed or not. Hang in there with your wall paper, it will eventually be all done and you will be so proud.
    Have a good Monday
